Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AuroraSoft (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the JumpQ websites, mobile applications, and related services (the “Services”).
1. Introduction
We respect your privacy. This policy describes our practices in line with applicable law.
2. Scope
This policy applies to personal data we process in connection with the Services. It does not apply to third-party sites or services that we do not control.
3. Data we may collect
Depending on how you use JumpQ, we may process:
- Account and contact data — identifiers you provide when registering, phone or email where applicable, and authentication tokens managed by our identity provider.
- Order and stall data — cart, orders, stall selections, and operational messages needed to run the Services.
- Payment data — transactions are handled by payment processors (e.g. Stripe). We typically receive limited payment metadata, not your full card number.
- Device and technical data — device type, OS version, app version, IP address, and diagnostic logs needed for security and reliability.
- Approximate location — if you enable location features, we process it as described in the app permissions flow.
We minimise data collection to what is needed for the Services and compliance.
4. How we use data
We use personal data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services (including queueing, ordering, and vendor workflows).
- Authenticate users and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Process payments via our processors.
- Communicate service-related notices where appropriate.
- Analyse usage in aggregated or pseudonymous form where we use analytics tools, consistent with your settings and applicable law.
5. Legal bases (where GDPR-style laws apply)
Where required, we rely on appropriate bases such as contract (providing the Services), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, with balancing tests), and consent where we ask for it (e.g. certain optional analytics or marketing).
6. Sharing of data
We may share data with:
- Service providers who assist us (hosting, authentication, payments, email, analytics, crash reporting), under contracts that require appropriate safeguards.
- Professional advisers where required (lawyers, auditors).
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal data as a matter of course; if we ever offer optional “sales” as defined under US state laws, we will provide required notices and choices.
7. International transfers
If we transfer data outside your country, we will use appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) where required.
8. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, and dispute resolution needs. Retention periods may differ by data category.
9. Security
We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
To exercise rights, contact [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
11. Children
The Services are not directed at children under the minimum age required by applicable law. Do not provide data if you are not eligible to use the Services.
12. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential operation and, where configured, analytics. You can control cookies through browser settings.
13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date.
